Luxury tents in Angola

"Rasheed and Rohith provided exceptional service and the dinner was excellent. Our tent was also very nice. Canopes at sunset were superb The driver Jamal was also great"

Too many flies specially when we tried to have the canopes at sunset. Perhaps at the parking spot where pick ups, drop offs are made, have a little shed with a couple of chairs so people could sit down while they wait to be picked up cos we came in a cab and sometimes, the driver may have another hire so he has to drop us and go off. Also, do advise guests to bring a sweater as it gets chilly at night. We did have one but only cos a colleague of mine who had been to a desert camp b4 recommended it.

"It’s not in the center BUT I got picked up with the motorbike and brought back to the center the next day. It’s directly to the caves so you can be the first in the cave the next morning after a night in the nature with a beautiful nightsky"

"It’s was perfect for me. The full experience from booking process, finding the location, meeting with the people responsible for the place. Great kitchen and accommodations. Super confy. Very quite with an amazing view. You can see the stars reflections on the lake. Fish made by Vincent was mmmm. Delicious. What else, Oh!! Learning more about the lake and people living around was an amazing experience. The place was built with love and harmony with the nature around. If you need a place to recharge- I highly recommend this one."

"My son and I spent three weeks traveling around Puerto Rico and this was a wonderful addition to our trip. I love Pitahaya's focus on sustanability and eco traveling, the exclusion of single use water bottles (BRAVO) and attention to composting and recycling. This is something rarely seen on the island and greatly needed. The mattress in the tent was very comfortable and I absolutely loved showing under the stars. A great way to camp if you are unable to bring your personal camp gear or are simply looking for a more comfortable camping experience."

The main light in our tent would only last for a few seconds. We weren't aware that it was motion activated and that made it challenging to play board games and read at night.

The camp has been meticulously prepared and would have been a hive of activity if the current political situation in the surrounding countries mean we were the only guests. Come and support this accommodation venue."

Being a camp, power was generator supplied only from 7pm to midnight. This was the case with other camps we stayed in also. Hard to find as with all camps, call owner for help.

"The location is excellent (10/10) and really gives off a strong camping vibe, yet it’s conveniently close to many F&B options. The room was very clean, cozy, and comfortable, with the bonus of having a private toilet."

Unfortunately, it rained during our stay, so the campfire had to be cancelled. However, the staff were extremely friendly and thoughtful—they provided umbrellas and floor mats to prevent rainwater from entering the room. Truly appreciated their warm hospitality and great service. Would definitely recommend this place!

Carole and Jean-Yves are extremely friendly, make you feel at home straight away, and generously share tips and recommendations for your stay on the island. "It was cosy , clean and had all the requirements we needed , great bed nice warm cosy cabin .Great trips Nikol and James excellent northern light and husky walk the morning / definitely recommend super friendly guys and we got to see the lights."

Nothing much , staff that worked in the office could have been friendlier, like greet and show a interest when you come for breakfast, but not much more to mention . Great stay

"I was in Siwa with friends. This trip was exceptional, I met wonderful people. The owner, Ahmed, was an exceptionally wonderful person. He asked us every day if we needed anything."

"Saber and Mosbah were great! I really enjoyed my night in the desert due to their hospitality, despite the language barrier since i cant speak french or Arabic, but still i had a perfect stay! I enjoyed the songs and the food and the tea, couldn’t recommend enough!"
