The setup is stylish and comfortable, and waking up to nothing but sand dunes in every direction is pretty hard to beat. Meals are driven out to you across the desert, with camels and goats wandering over to say hello, sunrise from the bed. At night, you can see a sky full of stars. It was truly magical"

"Rasheed and Rohith provided exceptional service and the dinner was excellent. Our tent was also very nice. Canopes at sunset were superb The driver Jamal was also great"

Too many flies specially when we tried to have the canopes at sunset. Perhaps at the parking spot where pick ups, drop offs are made, have a little shed with a couple of chairs so people could sit down while they wait to be picked up cos we came in a cab and sometimes, the driver may have another hire so he has to drop us and go off. Also, do advise guests to bring a sweater as it gets chilly at night. We did have one but only cos a colleague of mine who had been to a desert camp b4 recommended it.

"Shtiuie and Abu-Shamir are very friendly and welcoming. The breakfest was well served with eggs, pita breads, cheese, and vegatabales. The fireplace kept working and coffee and tea was served continousely. If we had any problems Shtiuie took care of them!"

The location is misleading. The place is actually inside the beduiwen village which is crowded by animals and noise. My friend wasnt able to sleep. as for me it was not a problem.

"It’s was perfect for me. The full experience from booking process, finding the location, meeting with the people responsible for the place. Great kitchen and accommodations. Super confy. Very quite with an amazing view. You can see the stars reflections on the lake. Fish made by Vincent was mmmm. Delicious. What else, Oh!! Learning more about the lake and people living around was an amazing experience. The place was built with love and harmony with the nature around. If you need a place to recharge- I highly recommend this one."

"Staff was amazing. Rachel went above and beyond any call of duty to have us met from a late bus, organised a park trip and had us dropped in morrogoro. Nesto made sure we were safe in the campground. Breakfast was great, more like brunch.Highly recommend the camping but for the bravehearted...loved sitting around the campfire in the early hours of the morning, listening to the sound of silence and occasionalanimal call, watching the moon sail across the sky from the net window of the tent... the sister hotel nearby has lovely rooms, at a very reasonable rate."

"I stayed 8 nights in a tent in a beautiful, tropical garden just a few meters from the sea. Sunki, the manager and William, the owner are great people, they arrange things for you, it was very helpfull. The kitchen is great, it has everything you need for cooking. There is a fan inside the tent, everything was nicely prepared. I am so greatfull, I have been in this wonderfull place."
