"Warm welcome from our hosts. You really feel like at home. Located a little bit outside the center of Jose Ignacio, we appreciated the calm of this area Excellent breakfast outside in front of the beautiful swimming pool. "Location was great. And nothing beats the local dishes for breakfast. The convience of the washer and dryer right in the apartment was awesome!! I think the gated area added to the security of the apartment, and so you feel safe staying there."

I think some basic essentials would be nice, like salt, pepper, and oil to cook with:-)

Cramped room area and narrow balcony + no cereal bowl . Water ran cold in the showers.

"They upgraded us to a better room in the Dar Alma hotel with a sea view. It was gorgeous, and the breakfast was delicious. One of the best places to stay in Tyre."

The flush in the bathroom didn't work, and they never came to fix it during our stay. Before arriving, they were very insistent in calling and asking for our arrival time, so I would reduce the communication with the staff if possible.

"This place and it's owner offer truly valuable experience, it is very quiet, clean and comfortable. Very close to the nature, snorkeling beach, horses. Owner is very communicative, helpful, open-minded person. I can highly recommend the breakfast. If you don't like all inclusive monsters and want to place that has 'soul' it is for you. We'd love to get back to this place."

My only complaint is about the bed… it was hanging in the middle and was really noise. Needs a new bed.

"Rose and the rest of the staff - they couldn’t do more to help and to make our stay the best! The place is in lovely old-style buildings with beautifully furnished rooms in a peaceful location. We loved the short cycle on complementary bikes to West Bay for the sunsets."

Actually, description was ambiguous: contrary to expectation, the toilet, bathroom and kitchen were shared (with the hosts and with the renter from the other room that is hired within the property), not private.

"Steve & Geri are terrific hosts, and the kind of people you want to meet when you’re travelling. They were very welcoming and accommodating, and fun to talk to. The B&B location is both convenient for arrivals, and well-placed for a walk along the southern coast beaches. The decor of the room is also well-suited to provide character. Enjoyed the breakfast."

"Gorgeous view from the apartment! There's a big window showing the beautiful mountains below. Beautiful interior design throughout!! The host was also very friendly 🌷 Buiilt as a compact studio apartment with a large bed, all beautifully designed. Next door there's a room that serves as a small kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave and capsule coffee machine. Lots of attractions nearby - Nimrod Fortress, Hermon Mountain site and cable car, Tel Dan, Ghajar village and Banias National Park."

Fortunately we travelled with a 4x4 wheel drive car -- a must-have to negotiate the steep roads in the village.

"It’s family owned and they were all so lovely and welcoming! Gjirokastër is very “hilly” so the roads were tough but they even offered to drop us off into town/pick us up. Very accommodating to our needs and there when we needed anything. Also, the breakfast was a whole spread with an amazing view of the castle and the mountains; it was so refreshing to eat to such a peaceful view. 10/10."

"The location was perfect for what we were looking for, half way between diamond beach and Reykjavík. We arrived quite late and it was easy to check in and parked right outside. We also got to the see the northern lights that night!"

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. The room was basic and nothing fancy but met our needs and was clean and that’s all we expected and were looking for.

"The fales are super nice with ocean view and were clean and well maintained. The family was so great and the food amazing. Bathroom was also ok. Snorkelling was good too, close to the beach you can see many small colorful fish. Another guest even saw a small (harmless if you leave him in peace) reef shark outside at the very edge of the reef. Easy access to eg ocean trench which is worth a visit. It felt like coming home and paradise"
