Set on lovely private gardens, these log style chalets are standing 3 minutes’ drive from Alexandra. There is a seasonal swimming lagoon and a BBQ area. All chalets deliver a private patio and a fully equipped kitchen. Guests have access to a self-service laundry and free on-site on-site parking. There are free transfers to and from the Rail Trail. Each wooden chalet offers a living room with a sofa and a flat-screen TV with digital channels. Heating and electric blankets are included. Central Chalets Ltd are 5 minutes’ drive from Clyde. The Queenstown and Wanaka ski fields are a 90-minute drive away.

"Not picking but just a shame the water sprinklers were on when we arrived as was a lovely day we couldn't make use of some of the outdoor furniture as was wet. Other that we had a lovely time stay. Thank you."

"After a busy day of driving from Hokitika, we decided to split our drive to Kaikoura by staying at this hotel for one evening. Upon check-in the young woman clearly explained the restaurant hours, breakfast plan and how to use the outdoor jacuzzi which we definitely utilized for star-gazing later that evening. Since the hotel is literally in the middle of mountains and valleys and rivers, the views from the hotel/restaurant/villa were fantastic. We spent a few hours star-gazing the Milky Way which is our passion and one of the objectives for staying here for the evening. Given the hotel's location, the restaurant menu was quite limited which is a shame but understood given its remoteness. Lovely stay and would definitely recommend this hotel for those considering....."
