"This place is simply amazing, what stands out is the attention to detail and the magical garden with pool. Highly recommend it for you nature lovers. The hosts were very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. There is plenty of parking space, a bakery and exquisite french restaurant just around the corner. Pro tip: watch your step when going to the pool, turtles are sometimes patroling the area."

"I stayed at Little Garden House and found it to be a charming and comfortable place, especially suitable for cyclists or other travelers looking for a peaceful stop. The location was a bit tricky to find at first, but once there, everything went smoothly. The host was very friendly and welcoming. She gave a helpful introduction to the facilities, including the cabin itself, the kitchen, and the shower area. The small cabin was cozy and pleasant, and the kitchen and sauna/shower located in an old outbuilding were also perfectly adequate for my needs. Overall, a nice and practical accommodation option in a quiet setting."

"It was like staying at someone’s home. V good, helpful staff and bed was v comfortable. The food was surprisingly decent for such a small place. Picturesque location even though snow was sparse at the time"

Only gripe might be that the air was quite dry, making sleep quality not so good: might be because of it being a wooden bldg

Unfortunately there weren’t enough cots but they ensured when we came back a couple of days later there was one for us. Perhaps a few more cots are needed.

"Beautiful lodge with individual rooms overlooking the park and landscapes. Everything is pleasantly decorated and very comfortable, with friendly staff and super delicious food. Individual room was small yet nice, with comfortable bed and great balcony to sit back on and overlook nature, very peaceful. Shower was hot and great pressure, and good Wifi connection too. Only stayed one night, could’ve stayed longer. Highly recommended."

Some of the appliances are tired and therefore unreliable and need updating . The internal phones dont work so if there is a problem you have to call the reception in a building down the hill on your cell which if you are from abroad is an expensive exercise.

Room was a little bit smelly but it wasn’t a huge issue for us

We had to change room as we didn’t know from the description, that it was in a shared apartment. That information should be clear on booking.

The cottage is really small and stuffy esp when it’s hot. window without mosquito net, thus we cannot leave it open in the nite, too much mosquitos and horse fly.

"Simple and wonderfully personal. Great little cottage with stunning views of the Atiu forests and genuinely friendly help from the proprietor. Everything worked like it should. Great stay, sad to leave."

"Lovingly furnished, clean accommodation in a family atmosphere with hospitable landlords, good sanitary standards and air conditioning, cozy terrace, very good and plentiful breakfast with fruit and local side dishes, option for dinner with excellent Sri Lankan cuisine which we thoroughly enjoyed. "Breakfast was fine - just remember to inform the owner the day before if you require breakfast. Ingrid, the co-owner, is a lovely woman and a fine, traditional cook. You will never leave the table hungry! Whilst she can offer beer at an extra cost, we tended to buy our own along with wine to drink at dinner. Again, you will need to inform Ingrid on the day if you require dinner later. There is no choice; me and my wife are both omnivores with no allergies or intollerances, and always liked what she prepared! Our lodge was spacious with a generous deck overlooking the beautiful gardens, and the sea in the background."

A small fridge in our lodge would have been a great bonus - however, we were free to use Ingrid's fridge. The shower was also a little on the dribbly side!
