"A huge thank you to the entire team at Central Backpacker for such a wonderful stay. The property may not be new, but it is impeccably maintained and spotlessly clean, which makes the experience truly comfortable and enjoyable. We were especially touched by the exceptional welcome and kindness of the staff. Always smiling, attentive, and helpful, they made our stay even more memorable. They also organized all of our temple visits with great professionalism and efficiency, allowing us to fully enjoy these magnificent sites with complete peace of mind. An address I highly recommend for its authenticity, warm hospitality, and quality of service."

"The manager was very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent. The facilities were basic but with a fan and air conditioning at that cheap price, it was a bargain. The location, and the help, advice and enthusiastic personality of the manager is what sold it!"

"The water pressure in the bathroom was low, but still manageable. Again this hotel delivered everything for the price, and more. I will be revisiting for Christmas, therefore I definitely recommend it!"

"Really good value for money! It a perfect location just a short walk across the river to the busy part. Really good breakfast cafe called street three eatery close by which I deffo recommend! had our laundry done here which was done in 24 hours."

"We stayed here 6 nights on April 2025. The place is charming, a quiet little hostel in a side alley, walking distance from everything we needed in Siem Reap. The staff was extremely friendly, very attentive and helpful. The place is spotless clean, they help with information, and generally everything you might need. Can't recommend enough on this place. We'll definitely come back to Central Backpacker when we're in Siem Reap again."

"A beautiful rural setting. It is a bit out of town, but what you get is a chance to enjoy rural Cambodia and it's only a 2 USD tuk tuk ride into town should you want to check out the delights of downtown Kampot (which you definitely should do once in a while, but it is tempting to never leave this hotel!). There is a well-stocked mini mart nearby and the restaurant next door does excellent food at a good price so you don't need to go into town unless you want to. The two guys running the place are helpful - they are German and speak good English which is handy."
