"I loved the charm & atmosphere of the Hotel. I was pleasantly surprised. Beds were nice & comfy. If anything a ceiling fan would be nice, just cause it got quite warm in the room. But otherwise ir was lovely."

I usually wouldn't stay in anything with a shared toilet & bathroom but it was fine & very clean.

"Our self catering apartment was in a good location. Places to eat are near by. Facilities were basic but adequate for our stay. Towels were lovely and soft, the room was clean, the shower was good and the a/c was efficient. The staff at reception were very friendly."

Pillows a bit lumpy but we still got a good night's sleep.

"The bungalow was very cozy! Started every morning with ordered breakfast to the room😊 Beautiful outside seating area, private balcony is always a great treat! Shower delivered temperatures after desire both cold/hot. The staff in the kitchen cooked us meals on order and delivered to the room, for such a low price also wow! Overall we had a peaceful wonderful stay here for 4 lovely nights🙏"

A fridge in the room would have been nice.

"Large, clean and modern room with a hairdryer and enough plugs. Parking available. Nice breakfast with home-made yogurt and jams. Internet was satisfactory. The dinner at a (somewhat high) price of 30 Euro per person was good. Good service overall. The owner, Mr. Desprairies, is very professional."

Though we did like the breakfast, we saw that eggs are offered for an extra charge. In most hotels this is standard, so I would recommend to just include them in breakfast. Also, the coffee was so so.

"We love the complete breakfast the BnB had and every morning it was a complete meal. The host ensured we were settled in well. As for the location, it is very much aligned to places where we visited at the area. Ubers and Bolt should not have any problem finding the place by the roadside. My wife loved the book collection at their personal library so a good writer's retreat too."

We were content with the place. Everything was in working order right to the room, amenities at our convenience. So no complaints.

"It's a lovely and very cozy place wirh very good food from Maria, the Chef. Karin, the owner, ist always there to help you. Especially in posh resort Vichayito it's a place that makes you feel welcome and is down-to-earth. There is a different delicious Menu del Dia every day."

The family is incredibly kind and welcoming, and they went above and beyond to organize all my trips both around town and further afield. They are very knowledgeable and always happy to help with anything. It also meant a lot to know that the funds from the guest house support a school for the local community. "Zara Village exceeded our expectations! The staff were extremely friendly and the restaurant was amazing. The location is perfect if you want to access Lokobe, they even organised our guide. Our favourite was having cocktails by the infinity pool. This was definitely a highlight of our trip."
