"Beautiful setting with the best staff, all so friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay for a day out at Musselburgh Races. Food was lovely too. Would defo come back."
"Stayed in a double room which was a bit tight (315)Bathroom shower door was coming apart and did see some hairs in shower before we used it. There was no curtains in the bedroom only a blind so wasnt quite dark enough for me. Early wake up with sun rise."

"What a piece of paradise in the Scottish countryside - the Castle was amazing with many opportunities to explore the large number of common areas (the vast Library was my Wife’s home!) The breakfast was a great start each morning - made the travels to Edinburgh and Stirling on two of the days more fulfilling."

"Fabulous old building, we loved the library and drawing rooms and enjoyed playing chess and scrabble as well as relaxing reading. Our room was the Royal Suite, and was absolutely perfect. Super comfortable and the bathroom was very luxurious with a large bathtub as well as a large shower The staff were very welcoming, pleasant and professional"
"The restaurant menu was limited, and portion sizes were inconsistent. Some mains came with sides others didn't. The breakfast was basic and finished at 9:30 which felt a bit too early."
