"Good location, we travelled by train & an easy taxi ride to the hotel. The location is also good for easily exploring the city. The property itself is very comfortable & welcoming. A very good breakfast which was refreshed frequently during service. All staff were very good & helpful. A special mention for Amber, who was brilliant."

"This is a very minor thing, but I think the coffee at breakfast could have been better. It would have been nice to have a cafetière. Other than that, it was all really good, and the staff were lovely."

"Our ground floor bedroom, cosy until air conditioning not working, then much too hot and very uncomfortable, had to open window at street level and still too hot. Was moved to another room which was much better ventilated."

"Location and the change of room. The room allocated to us as a Booking.com reservation was only suitable for one person and had been used by persons with pets previously as it smelled badly of wet dogs. In fairness the staff transferred us to a better room on the upper floor on the second night of our stay."

"Really spacious deluxe double room as we had 2 dogs. Beds/pillows really comfortable and well equipped. We had breakfast for our whole stay, which included eggs, bacon, sausages, crepes and pancakes/syrup as well as plenty of different yoghurts, fruit, croissants, pan au chocolat, cereals, fruit juices, cheeses and cold meats. Really lovely and worth the money and you could go up as many times as you liked. Staff were really lovely, helpful and pleasant, couldn't do enough for you. We chose the hotel as approx 7 minute walk to port area, so away from noise but within very easy reach. Food market only a few minutes walk away and some lovely restaurants too which were great value and fabulous. Having 2 dogs brilliant location for their morning walk prior to going out as the park was only a minute across the road. Would highly recommend this hotel for comfort, friendly service and great location for us."
