"From the moment we arrived, Anne-Laure was extremely kind, welcoming, and attentive, making sure everything was just right for us. The place itself is stunning — even more beautiful and spacious than the photos show. The bathroom was large and elegant, and the view from the property is simply breathtaking. The location at Anse Royale is ideal, close to everything yet peaceful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I truly recommend Fleur de Sel to anyone visiting Seychelles — it’s a real gem!"

"The hotel grounds are beautiful and well kept. The apartments are comfortable and clean. Owners very friendly and attentive and easy to reach via Whatsapp should you need anything. Supermarket 5 min walk away."

The only thing with the place is that if you don't drive (like me), it's quite far away from everything (which I kind of knew from researching when I booked so that was my choice) There are no buses but if you're driving, I would say it's perfect for a quiet, chilled stay in beautiful surroundings. I would probably still go back just for a few days if I re visit Aruba.

"From the beginning when I booked, contacted in private, for further information, the host has been very nice. The place is located in a small hill with an amazing view and rivers sound. "Location is excellent with buses and taxi rank directly outside. Supermarkets and all downtown shopping within a very easy walk. This literally is the city centre of Nuuk with all the convenience and facilities that brings but has a small town feel due to Nuuk being only 19000 people. I was easily able to walk to anywhere in central Nuuk including the waterfront. The washing machine was very convenient, I cooked several times in the kitchen and the balcony on the western side was a nice touch. The views are amazing and the Aurora is visible from your room but is better viewed away from the brightly lit centre of town."

The windows need to be cleaned.

"Great location. Just few minutes away walking to the beach and good restaurants. The apartment is clean, tidy and more spacious than seen in the pictures. There was storm Benjamin when we were there! Hence we couldn't go far. But it was my husband's birthday, so we wouldn't just stay inside. So I booked the Noordzee restaurant just literally across the apartment. (6-7m away), and we had a fantastic dinner! Joost & Nicolette are good hosts and responsive"

The bed is a bit too soft to our liking. And thankfully we're at the 1st floor so we didn't need to climb the steep stairs too much.

Some accesss to food - e.g., breakfast. Food on the island is extremenlty expensive from stores. Some neighbors were noisy.

the sheets were stained and wasnt clean enough. mattresses were slipping off the bed frame. Little chilly and the heater wasnt working well.

"The property was clean, well equipped and well maintained. The little beach was lovely with enough sun beds for everyone. There are only 4 restaurants in walking distance (one was around d 18 mins up the hill on the main road) and one bar that closes at 7pm. The Bucaneer shop is not very well stocked and the nearest supermarket is a drive away."

The pool was cleaned daily but could do with a midday skim as there’s a lot of tree debris that falls in. The beach is a thoroughfare for cruisers that have been dropped off for the day to get to the public beach

"Great staff on reception - very friendly and helpful, especially since I was the only guest in the hotel during the low season. The room was at an excellent rate and was very comfortable, clean and had everything I needed. The reception staff got me a kettle when I asked and I slept well."

Construction works are going on in the area and at the hotel in winter. Theh hamman, spa and bar and restaurant are all closed in winter too - all understandable and no huge deal and there's plenty in the area open all the time.

A couple of details... No shelf in the shower to put your soap and shampoo. On the floor or balancing on the shower handle.
